Hampton Court

The Stud House, Hampton Court Palace, Surrey

Located within the grounds of Hampton Court Palace in East Mosely beside the River Thames, The Stud House at Hampton Court Palace was built in the early 18th century. The Royal Stud had been at Hampton Court since the reign of William III and in 1812 George IV revised the breeding of blood-stock. In 1815 the stud buildings were placed under the office of works.

Frontiers Developments Ltd were contracted to carry out the works at the property on the recommendation of The Marchioness of Salisbury a very strong and highly credible figure in the world of garden design and vice chairman of the RHS alongside H.R.H Queen Elizabeth II.

Frontiers Developments Ltd have taken the designs of The Marchioness of Salisbury and transformed the property boundaries and gardens into a spectacular display of passion, achieving her careful eye for detail. The work at The Stud House has included the construction of outbuildings, a mirror pond with underground filtration equipment, formal garden with Italian water features and a Kitchen garden for the house.

Warrengate Farm

Warrengate Farm

Frontiers Developments Ltd was requested to design and build a complete garden terrace to all elevations of the main property with brick walling to match. We decided that it would be appropriate to complete the walling with Haddonstone castings to compliment the features of the existing house.

The main terracing was imported to the client's specification and laid in a traditional method to add character to the completed project. Whilst designing the terracing, Frontiers Developments Ltd recommended that elevating the levels and reshaping the contours of the grassland would enhance the finished project.

Residential Barn Conversion

Residential Barn Conversion

This late 17th century cottage and 18th -19th century red brick barn with a weather boarded upper and exposed oak purlins had become dilapidated over its previously occupied life.

Our team worked alongside English Heritage and The Local Authority to transform this into the bespoke property it is today. We have carefully restored and rejuvenated all of the existing characteristics of the historical construction into one of the most desired properties in North Hertfordshire.

Bayford Hall Farm

Bayford Hall Farm

Frontiers Developments Ltd was requested to provide a design for the swimming pool area and various areas of terracing in and around the farm buildings at Bayford Hall Farm. We have imported Indian Yorkstone to the client's choice of colour and laid on a sand / cement bed at random sizes to create the desired effect. Whilst carrying out construction we suggested the need for parking bollards to the residential premises and opted to use 12” x 12” hardwood posts to keep with the timber surroundings.

Frontiers Developments Ltd have carried out a variant of contracts for the client over the last five years including converting old hay barns into modern stable blocks complete with menarge, horse walkers and wash down facilities.
